Born in the high desert town of Gallup, New Mexico, acoustic bluesman and award winning songwriter David Vidal has never strayed far from his Route 66 background. His tunes evoke the wide open spaces, loneliness and humor of the highway, where another surprise always lies around the next bend. They are punctuated with exquisite slide guitar, funky acoustic rhythms and masterful harmonica playing.

Vidal’s songs have been recorded by America, used in the movie “My Cousin Vinny” and the television series “Friday Night Lights”. They have been released on Atlantic Music Records and by the BBC. Americana Blues, David Vidal's latest release on Los Angeles based indie label Wilmac Records, is now available through CD Baby.
